Pharma clients

Our success within the very specialised Pharma market is largely down to our relationships, both with clients and candidates.

We put a strong emphasis on partnering our clients to add value to their business through recruitment, and it is this type of knowledge and ability that stands us out from the crowd.

When working with a client, we ensure we meet on a frequent basis. This helps us to manage the partnership more responsively as well as allowing us to:

  • ensure we know how their individual business operates
  • ensure we know all those we are involved with personally
  • offer the opportunity of face to face contact for the client
  • work on the clients requirements and keep them appraised of the progress

Recruitment

At Gold, we recruit for both permanent and contract positions. This allows us to cover all of our clients requirements, as well as catering for the various demands from our candidates for their career.

In terms of the way we recruit for our clients, there is two main methods. One is a contingency search, which is the most common format for finding candidates, and the other is a retained search.

Contingency search - this is used for recruitment on an ad-hoc basis when we have already agreed terms with a client. As a requirement comes up it is handed to us and we then go about sourcing a candidate. We will do this in the following ways:

  • searching our in-house candidate database
  • approaching candidates we know are suitable
  • advertising the role on relevant sites and in relevant publications
  • requesting referrals from people who work in the industry and more

Retained search - a retained search is a more structured method of finding a candidate and is specifically designed to target and engage relevantly skilled people who are not actively seeking work. One of the many benefits of this search is that it offers you candidate exclusivety because your role, and the people we target, are not on the open market.
