In terms of the way we recruit for our clients, there is two main methods. One is a contingency search, which is the most common format for finding candidates, and the other is a retained search.
Contingency search - this is used for recruitment on an ad-hoc basis when we have already agreed terms with a client. As a requirement comes up it is handed to us and we then go about sourcing a candidate. We will do this in the following ways:
Retained search - a retained search is a more structured method of finding a candidate and is specifically designed to target and engage relevantly skilled people who are not actively seeking work. One of the many benefits of this search is that it offers you candidate exclusivety because your role, and the people we target, are not on the open market.
