When I first spoke to Gold Group, it was clear that they had more than a general understanding of the job in question, and as such I was able to ask quite specific questions which would help me understand whether the job was suitable. Where Gold Group was not able to answer a particular question, they assured me that they would find out and come back to me promptly, which they always did. There was very little fuss involved with explaining the job and arranging the interview and as a busy person that was invaluable to me. What I liked most of all was that I felt Gold Group was acting on my behalf and for my interests, rather than solely those of the client. The conversations we had were more like “what are you looking for Phil” rather than “this is what is on offer”.

 

When I interviewed for the position, I was impressed that Gold Group called me both beforehand, to check everything was OK and to wish me luck, and afterwards to see how it had all gone. This type of communication gave me the assurance that Gold Group actually cared about me and my feelings/concerns, rather than seeing me as “just another applicant”, and it gave me confidence that if I were to accept the position, I would have a good working relationship with my agent, which again is very important to me. Upon accepting the job, I made it clear to Gold Group  that, as I was going on holiday a few days later, I wanted to see the Contract paperwork as soon as possible. It arrived with me the next day.
