We are working with one of the UK's most succesful and growing Rail Signalling Engineering companies and have a number of key roles to fill with them, this particular post is Principal Project Engineer in the Midlands, full details are below.
The Position:
In this senior position you will be able to lead and direct the delivery of engineering and technical compliance on major projects which can be technically complex. Ideally you will have experience of the role of Contract Manager with an Engineering focus on specific projects.
Responsibilities:
Technical contact point for clients and sub-contractors to address any technical project issues.
Carry out Risk assessments.
Apply Yellow Book principles.
Manage technical change to ensure it fits the requirements of your project and the impact is known and addressed.
Attend technical briefings.
Ideal Background:
Experience of working in signal design / installation OR testing.
Knowledge of rail construction methods and signalling technologies.
Understands Network Rail standards.
Team management experience.
IRSE licence holder.
