Senior Planning Manager – Johannesburg, South Africa
Gold Group Ltd is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Planning Manager on behalf of an international organisation to lead the planning function out of their offices based in Johannesburg.
The Senior Planning Manager will be office based in Johannesburg and they will provide management, training and mentoring to the planning team. In addition their responsibilities will include initial project setup of their major projects, implement company procedures relating to planning, new bids and business development. The Senior Planning Manager is a strategic recruit providing the successful candidate a long term route into executive management.
To be considered for this opportunity candidates will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• A relevant University degree or professional qualification Engineering
• Advanced user of Primavera P6 and above, including resources and reports
• Advanced excel skills including use of graphs and formulas
• Experience of working on large projects as the Contractor in an EPC environment
• Large project experience at both pre construction and tender stages.
On offer is a competitive basic salary of 1.2-1.3 million Rand per annum plus an attractive benefits package plus a long term career opportunity offering progression to executive management.
