2nd Line Support Engineer needed for a leading organisation based in Sutton, Surrey who are looking to employ an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of managing all incidents, problems and service requests from start to end

Some of the main duties of the 2nd Line Support Engineer will include:
* Responsible for supporting a wide variety of customer facing, mission critical services
* Manage and coordinate urgent & complicated support tickets
* Determine root cause of technical and process problems and communicate appropriately to internal & external customers
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must as well as the ability to work well independently and under pressure
* Support a variety of office-based & remote users-based desktop technology; including thin clients, desktop PCs, laptops (both Microsoft Windows & MacOS) & mobile devices
* Provide support & guidance for all audio & video conferencing (physical & software-based) services, including physical office-based AV equipment
* Support a range of business applications; including Microsoft Office 365, finance systems
* Ensure hosted desktop platform is performing the best possible standard for users
* Manage, administer & optimise Microsoft Office 365 instance
* Manage, administer & optimise hosted telephony infrastructure
* Administer office-based networking equipment (Cisco Meraki) & printing equipment
In order to be the successful 2nd Line Support Engineer and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
* Hosted desktop platforms (Microsoft RDS, Citrix)
* Microsoft Office 365; system admin level administration
* Microsoft Office 365; business application support (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
* Hardware break/fix (thin clients, desktop PCs, laptops, Mac)
* Apple Mac support
* Printers
* Service / help desk ticketing systems (Zoho, Zendesk, Service Now, etc)
* Email filtering, security, archiving systems (Mimecast)
* Networking equipment (Cisco Meraki)
* NAS storage devices
* AV support (projectors, video/audio conferencing services)
