Sales Specialist/Account Manager
Rate: £36.88 per hour
Term: 12 Months

Account Manager needed for an organisation based in Leeds who are looking to bring in an experienced Account Manager with an interest in products used in surgical procedures. This will involve offering a total abdominal solution to the surgeon customers.

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Account Manager will include:
* Achieve agreed objectives and sales targets as per the annual performance cycle
* Interact and promote to key customers and stakeholders in secondary care within an allocated geographical region and take the lead in managing this customer
* Manage territory through development of comprehensive business plans and identify areas with the highest opportunities to grow and obtain new business
* Manage and develop accounts and own the relationship between the customer and company
* Define commercial growth requirements with the regional sales manager and other colleagues
* Ensure key insights from the external marketplace are appropriately shared internally to shape future plans
* Ensure competence in procedural focus area and product portfolio
* Analyst and interpret account strategies and plans through the utilization of key systems and data to gain a broad understanding on the business environment and insights into account needs
* Develop, deploy and maintain tactical account business plans that align to business and customer objectives
* Prepare appropriate plans to meet with customers to deliver on account plans and milestones
* Prepare presentations for meetings as appropriate
* Build strong professional networks to identify mutually beneficial opportunities to sell key technologies within the surgical procedural environment
* Present brand value propositions and value-added customer solutions to positively influence buying behaviours
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across Johnson and Johnson Medical Devices to deliver on business plans
* Collaborate with other Sales Specialists and commercial teams to deliver coordinated approaches where necessary
* Respond to requests for support from other customer facing colleagues and proactively share information and insights where customers may be shared via the CRM system
* Contribute and collaborate with colleagues in the regional team to work toward regional business planning goals
* Lead customer training activities and partner with professional education to develop and maintain the associated KOL relationships as well as championing the effective use of the Company's comprehensive professional education offering
* Understand technical information pertinent to the procedure and product platform
* Maintain up-to-date market and industry knowledge

What you need to be the successful Account Manager:
In order to be the successful Account Manager and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
* A competitive mindset and winning spirit
* Experience in surgical sales
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be eligible for Security Clearance
