Brief

Account Manager needed for a leading Utilities organisation based in the Midlands on a permanent basis. The role holder will coordinate all resources and stakeholders to deliver a high level of service to clients with maximum efficiency and in a safe, sustainable, and collaborative manner.

To be a successful candidate looking for an all - rounded Account manager who can develop effective working relations and has a technical background with previous contract management experience.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Account Manager will include:

  • Manage the client service delivery over several locations, ensuring all available resources work is collaborative.
  • Be accountable for the financial performance of the contract.
  • Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with the Client and related Client organisation.
  • Ensure mobile & site-based personnel manage the contract to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) as they apply to technical and related services.
  • Monitor and develop direct reports through training and regular reviews.
  • Deliver training and corporate briefings.
  • Ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment, and quality are effectively managed using risk assessments, PPE, training, and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and clients.
  • Review the monthly audit checks demonstrating legislative compliance within scope of service delivery streams and to escalate to the portfolio director, as necessary.
  • Work with the operational and support teams to ensure all completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works are correctly logged and recorded within the company's asset management system.
  • Establish, operate, and maintain procedures for the effective planning, organisation, control, monitor and review of the services.

What experience you need to be the successful Account Manager:

  • Able to develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, business partners, suppliers, and sub-contractors to improve operational performance.
  • Proven experience in SLAs and seeking opportunities to provide added value across the delivery stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive profit improvement through both sales generation and cost saving initiatives in a collaborative manner with the operations teams.
  • Technical background with previous contract management experience
  • Team working experience.
  • Experience of using a CAFM system
  • Good experience and track record in working in Facilities Management
  • Good knowledge of building services and legislation
