An experienced Accountant is required to play a key role in providing all necessary financial support to the Financial Accountant (Reporting & Consol) in the completion of the monthly consolidated management accounts and the year end audit.
The Role:
So, what will you be doing as an Accountant?
- Responsible for the preparation of the monthly consolidated accounts, consolidating all legal entities into the Group position, including group consolidation adjustments.
- Manage the consolidation system, OneStream, ensuring alignment between finance ERP systems and the OneStream to support completeness and accuracy of reporting.
- Preparation of the rolling weekly cash flow for the VP Finance in the management of cash.
- To provide financial support to the Financial Accountant (Reporting & Consol) in the completion of balance sheet reconciliations review, statutory accounts preparation and the year end audit, as required
What are we looking for in our next Accountant?
- CIMA / ACCA part qualified with good accounting experience and strong intellectual curiosity
- Proven ability to manage month end processes and tasks
- Operational and process minded management accountant, ideally with previous group accounting experience
- Financial accounting experience preferably from an engineering/manufacturing background
- Ability to work both autonomously and also a keen team player, energetic self-starter with a proactive and challenging approach
- Prepared to work flexibly to achieve all deadlines, to multi-task recognising priorities and to deliver results accordingly
- Able to present and communicate financial information clearly, including to those without a finance background
- Commercially and financially aware, suitable level of experience working within a commercial/finance environment
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including modelling development and other IT system experience
