Brief

The CSAT DT is a small team within the ATAAR C17CSAE portfolio. The DT is responsible for both the Type Airworthiness and the Service Delivery of the new CSAT Falcon 900LX aircraft fleet. The Engineering Team within the CSAT DT comprises 10 Engineering/Safety positions, split across both MOD Abbeywood and RAF Northolt, responsible to the CSAT TAA for the delivery of the Military Type Certification and initial Release to Service Recommendation (RTSR) for the Falcon 900LX aircraft in the first instance, and further continued Type Airworthiness of the ac fleet beyond that.

The CSAT RECAP Eng Cert Support (PE2) role will be responsible for supporting the CSAT RECAP Certification Lead (PE3) in progressing certification of the CSAT RECAP aircraft iaw the Military Aircraft Certification Process (MACP).

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Aircraft Certification Engineer will include:

• Scoping of an appropriate certification basis of the both the aircraft and more latterly, the military modifications
• Review of the aircraft certification artefacts and evidence
• Engagement with CSAT Recap Project Manager and Military Aviation Authority

What experience you need to be the successful Aircraft Certification Engineer:

• Aircraft certification experience essential (Military and/or Civilian)
• ASEMS
• GEAR

• MOD Aircraft Engineering Authority Experience
• Previous Letter of Airworthiness Authority (LOAA) Holder

• Routine travel to RAF Northolt will likely be required.
