Application Specialist
Application Specialist required by a Medical Devices company located in the Gatwick area, in a field-based capacity, to provide market-leading, tailored training to customers, colleagues and Distributor Specialists.
The successful Application Specialist would desirably have a relevant Physics Degree and to have experience in healthcare /computer science /adult education to include one year of software training experience on healthcare/medical applications or other software applications
Some of the main duties of the Application Specialist will include:
- Provide professional assistance and support to Marketing/Sales, R&D and international colleagues
- Ensure that customer requests are handled in a timely and professional manner in accordance with contractual obligations
- Support Marketing/Sales activities at exhibitions, conferences and seminars, when required
- Maintain long-term positive relationships with customers acting upon customer feedback to drive NPS and Customer Satisfaction
- Actively contribute to Service delivery to ensure that customer expectations are exceeded
- Actively manage customer evaluation and assessments to monitor trends in student performance and satisfaction
- Act as a conduit between customers and product development; proactively articulating regional requirements within PCP
What experience you need to be the successful Application Specialist:
- Experience with the following: Microsoft Office, Citrix and CLM systems, where applicable
- Physics Degree (Application Specialist - Physicist)
- Strong clinical background in Radiotherapy and working knowledge of clinical workflow
- Excellent presentation skills (ability to communicate effectively to a group)
- Ability to effectively interact with customers (via phone and face-to-face)
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 70% of the time
