An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor based in Bristol, a major player in the construction industry who are highly regarded for their expertise in providing construction solutions to clients across the UK.
Based at their modern offices in Bristol the Assistant Planning Engineer will join a highly experienced team responsible for notable high profile projects valued up to £250m. Reporting into the Planning Manager they will provide the senior team with day to day planning support, assisting with planning projects at the tender and contract stages.
This is fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Planning Engineer to gain valuable exposure to the full life cycle of projects and to gain industry leading training from a team of experts in construction planning. Candidate
- A couple of years construction industry experience, some planning experience would be advantageous.
- Experience working within a main contracting environment
- Site based construction experience
- Working knowledge of planning software packages either Asta Powerproject of MS Project
- Good understanding of construction and its techniques
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
On offer is a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum which is dependent upon experience plus an attractive package which includes a company car or car allowance of £5,000, travel allowance, pension, healthcare, life assurance, private medical, 33 days holiday and other great benefits.
