An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planning Engineer to join the busy Construction Division of a leading main contractor based in Manchester. The Assistant Planning Engineer will join a major name in the UK construction industry who are highly regarded for their expertise for delivering complex projects for their private and public sector clients.
The Assistant Planning Engineer will be site based on an exciting and high profile project based in Central Manchester. The project is valued at £200m and consists of 4 high rise residential towers along with leisure facilities and retail space.
The Assistant Planning Engineer will work closely with the Senior Planning Engineer and provide him with day to day support with managing the construction programme and helping with the successful delivery of the project.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, hardworking and enthusiastic Assistant Planning Engineer to gain valuable experience on a landmark scheme in Manchester with a top name in UK main contracting.
- Qualification in construction - Degree/HNC/HND
- Some construction planning experience gained within a main contracting environment.
- Site based experience.
- Sound understanding of construction techniques.
- Proficient user of Asta Powerproject.
- CSCS card
- Strong communication skills.
- Team player.
