An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering new build decent homes and refurbishment projects across Hertfordshire.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced team and working closely with with a Senior Surveyor, assisting with the commercial administration of both live projects and projects at pre-construction phase. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing assistance to the wider commercial and estimating teams
• Attending project meetings
• Developing an understanding of the contract, project specifications and construction drawings to ensure compliance with client requirements and agreed specifications

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be offered a role that includes access to an ongoing training schedule which will include one on one mentoring, exposure to large construction projects and no limits on career progression. Assistant Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must have a degree in Quantity Surveying, construction experience within the residential new build or regeneration sectors and excellent communication skills.
