Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Oxford
£28,000 to £35,000 + car & package
A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and growing team delivering a Term Maintenance contract for a local authority in Oxford. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be focused on street lighting and electric vehicle charging points across the area and managing them from a commercial and financial perspective.
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with the Project Surveyor and Senior Surveyor, supporting them with the day to day management of the contract. Some of your key duties will include:
- Supporting the wider commercial team with the procurement process
- Subcontract management
- Carry out site measures before and after works are complete
- Processing payments
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will need to have at least 18 months experience in a similar role, working on a project or framework within the highways, utilities or another similar civil engineering or infrastructure sector. You'll also need excellent communication skills and be keen to develop and further your career.
