Quantity Surveyor

£35,000 to £50,000 + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a full fibre rollout across Lancashire. As a key member of the team, you'll be working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor, overseeing your own portfolio of projects across the contract, taking them through the full life cycle. The role promises rapid career progression, the support of an experienced team and competitive salary & package.
Some of the Quantity Surveyors key roles and responsibilities will include:
- Produce feasibility studies and establishing the clients requirements
- Monitor risk, value management and cost control
- Evaluate and agree variations and instructions
- Support contractual claims where required
- Measure completed works and arrange the appropriate payments
- Build a strong relationship with the client
Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have previous experience working within the telecoms, utilities or civil engineering sectors and have a keen eye for detail, good contract knowledge and be commercially astute.
