I have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join an award winning developer on a major residential project in East London. The person my client is looking for must have some experience working on construction projects c£25m+ for a top 100 contractor or developer. They want someone who can join the team and take responsibility for internal packages working closely with a Senior Site Manager making sure the trade and sub contractors are working to spec and on programme.
The project is a 4 phase residential scheme based in East London consisting of 300 units reaching up to 12 stories in one block. The scheme is already under way and is going to ramp up in pace over the course of the next 12 months so will need people who understand process and quality. You must be able to communicate at all levels with internal and external parties. You will need to manage and motivate the sub contractors to make sure the work is being carried out to the high standard expected.
