Chartered Building Surveyor (RICS)
c.£60,000 + pension, bonus, professional fees & more
I have an opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a busy, friendly, established building consultancy at their offices in Tonbridge, Kent. My client works with a variety of private and public sector clients across London and the South East and this opportunity promises exposure to a variety of work, different instructions and no limits on where you can go within the business (incl. to partner level).
What will you be doing?
As part of a small, professional and client facing team, the Chartered Building Surveyor will be given the autonomy to manage your own work load and tasked with undertaking traditional building surveying instructions across the South East. All of this work in undertaken for clients within the private sector with instructions that include:
- Party Wall Advice
- Dilapidation Surveys
- Planned Maintenance Programmes
- Contract Administration
- Measured Surveys & more.
Alongside the traditional surveying role, the Chartered Building Surveyor will also be instrumental in shaping the companies future giving ideas on how they can develop and grow, how they can improve the offering to their clients and much more.

What experience will you need?
You'll need to have at least 5 years experience as a Chartered Building Surveyor within a consultancy environment. You'll also need to have strong communication skills, a client facing approach and a passion for your chosen profession. Due to the location of their offices, clients and projects, it's also important that you hold a driving licence.
