Salary: £80,000 to £110,000 + package

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director with a background in Professional Quantity Surveying to join a busy and growing cost consultancy in Central London. The Associate Director will join my clients senior leadership team and take on an instrumental role in the businesses plans for growth throughout 2024 and beyond. The role promises exposure to a wide range of clients including institutional funds, high net worth individuals, occupiers, land owners, banks and others.

As an Associate Director within their busy London office, you'll be supporting their teams across various stages of a project from inception through to completion. These projects will vary in size and complexity from the conversion of Grade I listed buildings into luxury hotels through to the construction of distribution centres, student accommodation, high specification offices and apartments. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing leadership to a small team of Quantity Surveyors across a portfolio of projects
• Ensure that your projects are being delivered on time, within budget and the required specifications
• Act as the main point of contact for the client, stakeholders and contractors
• Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets & estimates
• Monitor and control project costs
• Administration of contracts
• Review and negotiation of contractual terms
• Identify and asses potential commercial risks relating to cost and budgets
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers and various stakeholders
• Contribute ideas to the wider leadership team to aid in the development of the business
• Attend networking events to support the growth of the business

Associate Directors considering applying for this position must have experience working for a UK based main contractor or consultancy and be able to demonstrate their skills in managing large construction projects through the full life cycle. You'll need excellent communication skills, a driven approach to your work, be enthusiastic and keen to continue with your own learning and development.
