Contract - 12 months

Out of scope of IR35 - £300-£400 per day

The role can be remote or based from the office in Bury St Edmunds

Role Summary:

The overall purpose of the role is to assure quality in the software products developed by the Robotics and Prompting software team, initially working with the Robotics team.

The role holder will have responsibility for automated software testing within an Agile project environment, testing user interfaces and Web APIs running within Azure Devops VMs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design test specifications that cover all functional, non-functional and failure mode requirements from the end user perspective
• Design, write and execute automated tests within an automated test running environment
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
• Log and document bugs in the issue tracking system

• At least 3 years software testing experience with most or all of the following:
• Testing C# application UIs written with WPF
• Appium (WinAppDriver)
• Azure Devops (Repository & Pipelines)
• WebAPI
• Tasks, Async/Await
• NUnit/MSTest

Desirable:

• Postman for Automated API testing
• Jira
• Testing against multi-client systems
