BI Developer

BI Developer required by a rapidly growing Google Cloud partner based in London, who provide businesses with cutting-edge data and AI solutions in the cloud. As a BI Developer you will be working in an agile and dynamic environment together with data engineers, BI analysts, data scientists, and machine learning experts while collaborating with colleagues in the business intelligence and engineering team to help build new or migrate existing data warehouses onto Google Cloud for clients.

It is desirable for you have worked in a BI consultancy role previously, have working knowledge of Looker and/or Tableau or similar leading BI tools along with experience using version control system (e.g. Git), Ci/CD

As a BI Developer you will:

• Build the foundation on top of which analytics and data science teams will build innovative, impactful solutions with clients;
• Help clients migrate existing business intelligence and data warehouse solutions to Google Cloud Platform;
• Design and build brand new data warehouse solutions for clients;
• Work closely with tech partners: Google Cloud Platform, Looker. Snowflake,dbt

Essentials skills for the BI Developer role:

• 5+ years of experience in the BI Development area
• Advanced SQL knowledge (including DML, DDL)
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing design and modelling techniques
• Good understanding and experience in working with both OLTP and OLAP databases
• Good knowledge of data transformation ETL/ELT principles and techniques
• Working experience in the GCP, AWS or Azure environment
• Experience in AGILE working

**This is an OUTSIDE of IR35 role**
