Business Analyst (IT)
Bristol.
Salary £40,000 to £50,000 Plus Bonus and Excellent Benefits Package.


This Business Analyst role will involve working closely with the Business Solutions Leader to capture and analyse new and existing Business needs, conducting suitable evaluation of those needs to propose new change initiatives for Governance review.
Once new initiatives are turned into Projects, the Business Analyst will work closely within a Project Team to help design and test solutions, ensuring they meet requirements and then assisting in the Business change adoption process to assist in rolling out the changes to users.

Candidates will have experience of identifying business and user needs, developing business cases and involvement in the identification, design and validation of potential technical solutions. Successful candidates will have skills and expertise covering:

• Elicite and collate business requirements from multiple users;
• Develop data models and use cases to support and inform business requirements.
• Evaluating alternative technical solutions to deliver business requirements.
• Management of multiple varied internal stakeholders.
• Conducting and supporting the creation, changes of and/or review any technical design documentation and provide feedback as required.
• Identifying best practice in the industry and keep up to date with non-functional requirements to ensure the systems remain compliant.
• Where necessary, seeking out software solutions to business requirements and assisting with supplier selection processes.
• Assisting project and technical managers with supplier management, especially with regards to agreeing and validating requirements.
• Assisting with end user documentation and training for business systems solutions.

Requirements

• Demonstrable Business Analysis experience within projects and programme change initiatives
• Experience of working in IT. Ideally this would be supported by Business Analysis Qualification;
• Strengths in communication, decision making, problem solving and analytical skills;
• In depth Business Analysis knowledge and techniques;
• Ability to build relationships with project teams, to help drive successful deliveries.

The Business Analyst role is stakeholder facing, working on own and as part of a team.

Additional desirable requirements:

• M365 environments, Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Power Platform.
