I have a genuinely exciting opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join an established, busy and growing multi-disciplinary consultancy at their offices on the South Coast. The Chartered Building Surveyor will undertake a key role in the development of the businesses, helping grow their pipeline of work across Sussex, Kent and London whilst also delivering exciting projects. Some recent projects have included a new operating theatre for an NHS hospital, an specialist cancer treatment ward, refurbishment to a Grade II listed building for a client within the education sector and a £1m specialist project to a local museum.
The Chartered Building Surveyors role will be to undertake commissions for a variety of different clients across both the private and public sector as well as growing the existing client base. Some of your key responsibilities and duties will include:
- Undertaking building surveys on healthcare buildings, offices, retail units, commercial buildings, schools, colleges & universities
- Project Management
- Building pathology including inspections and report writing
- Preparing drawings for planning & building regulations and detailing works for construction
- Preparing accurate, professional specifications
- Submitting tender reports
- Contract administration

Chartered Building Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have at least 5 years experience as a Building Surveyor within a consultancy environment and be a full member of the RICS.
