Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS)
£50k + package
I have a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join a busy, well regarded building consultancy at their offices in Brighton. The Chartered Quantity Surveyor will be joining a friendly business that believes in delivering a high quality service, securing repeat business and offering it's employees continued opportunities to learn and develop their careers whilst also having a balance between their home and work lives.
The Chartered Quantity Surveyor will be undertaking a variety of duties for projects covering clients within both the private and public sectors. Some of these projects will include schools, universities and colleges, healthcare centres, hospitals, library's, leisure centres, museums and specialist heritage work. As the Chartered Quantity Surveyor, your role will include the following responsibilities:
- Preparing cost plans & budget estimates
- Preparing tender & contract documents
- Undertaking post contract valuations, cost reporting and final account negotiations
- Working closely with the project management team to deliver the clients objectives
- Attending site progress meeting
- Maintaining a strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
This position would be well suited to a Chartered Quantity Surveyor currently living local to the South Coast or Sussex but commuting and looking for a better work life balance.
