Chief Engineer
West Midlands
Working with a leading Defence and Aerospace company who are recruiting for a Chief Engineer - Rotary Wing to be responsible for the professional management of the Rotary Wing Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) in accordance with all applicable Aviation Regulatory Requirements and International Standards.
The position is based in the West Midlands and supports a key customer. The position reports into the Aircraft Maintenance Manager and is responsible for a team. This position would suit a candidate at Chief Engineer or Base Manager level who has oversight of maintenance and maintenance support operations.
As a Chief Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Able to hold an SC-Level security clearance
Expert knowledge of Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintenance Management principles and practices
Strong management and leadership experience
Background as an EASA / UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 or Rotary B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer
Theoretical and practical application level knowledge of EASA/UK CAA and/or Military Aviation Regulations as applicable in the AMO environment
Practical application level knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 as applicable in the AMO environment
Practical application level knowledge of Safety Management System principles and requirements as applicable in the AMO environment
Demonstrable people and cultural change management experience
