Clinical Study Administrator needed for an organisation based in Leeds who are looking to bring in an experienced Clinical Study Administrator to assist the clinical study staff within the Clinical R&D COE in processing, tracking and filing study documents and management of the Master File within clinical projects.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Clinical Study Administrator will include:

  • Be accountable for the timely tracking of studying essential documentation and ensure completeness of the Trial Master File for assigned clinical studies in accordance with appropriate regulations, guidelines and instructions
  • Create and distribute regulatory binders and wet-signed documents binder
  • Assist study staff and investigators to quickly and effectively resolve issues related to study files. Respond to problems and assist in implementing corrective and preventative actions
  • Assist in provision of internal communication for important clinical data and events
  • Support ongoing use of CTMS by maintaining and tracking relevant activities
  • Provide safety documentation to other functional groups in support of safety committee meetings as requested
  • Assist with logistics for investigator meetings and expert panel meetings
  • Assist in distributing newsletters through use of mailing lists and CTMS
  • Participate in process improvement activities related to CTMS/v-TMF within department
  • On occasion assist in order and distribution for study supplies and device tracking

What you need to be the successful Clinical Study Administrator:

In order to be the successful Clinical Study Administrator and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree
  • Previous clinical research experience advantageous
  • At least 1 years' worth of administrative support or equivalent
  • Experience and knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrable competencies in:
    • Tracking
    • Written and verbal communications
    • Attention to detail
    • Organizational skills

Must be eligible for Security Clearance
