Combat Systems Assurance Consultant needed for a multinational defence engineering organisation based in Plymouth who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Combat Systems Assurance Consultant that takes pride in their work and possesses combat systems operational or engineering experience.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Combat Systems Assurance Consultant will include:

You will engage and support clients (both direct to the Ministry of Defence and major Industrial Partners) to provide combat systems assurance solutions throughout the lifecycle of their systems.

This role will give you the opportunity to work on a wide variety of defence related projects across combat systems and weapons domains, ranging from small equipment through to large/complex systems and platforms.

I am keen to hear from you if you have experience in any of the following in relation to combat systems:

• Integration
• Technical assurance and maturity assessment
• Operational experience
• Safety management

What experience you need to be the successful Combat Systems Assurance Consultant:

The successful applicant will meet the following minimum requirements:

• Combat systems operational or engineering experience

It is to your advantage if you meet any or all the following additional requirements:

• UK Armed Forces combat/weapons systems operational or engineering experience
• Technical assurance and maturity assessment experience
• Awareness of Safety management
• System Requirements development
