Commercial Manager (M&E)
£60,000 to £90,000 (DOE), 12 Month FTC
I have a really exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager with a background in mechanical & electrical (M&E) installations to join one of the UK's leading main contractors on a 12 month, Fixed Term Contract on a high profile account in the Netherlands.
As the Commercial Manager, you'll be joining a specialist team that works closely with a global client and delivering a range of projects including moves, additions, retrofits, changes, security & utility upgrades. The projects vary in value from £500k to £10m+ and you could be working on between 5 and 10 projects at a time.
The day to day duties of the Commercial Manager will include:
- Reporting to the Divisional Commercial Manager and taking responsibility for the financial procedures
- Providing clear communication in regards to budgets and financial management
- Create and develop a strong working relationship and culture between the ICT, Construction and MEP teams
- Act as a mentor and ambassador for your team and the contractor whilst building a strong, trusting relationship between everyone involved in the project
Commercial Managers considering this opportunity will need to have mechanical and electrical experience for a main contractor on major new builds (ideally on data centres). You'll need excellent communication skills and you'll be at an advantage if you can speak Dutch. Ideal candidates will already be living in the North of the Netherlands or willing to relocate for 12 months.
In return, the Commercial Manager can expect a competitive salary of £60,000 to £90,000, car allowance, healthcare, pension contributions, payment of professional fees and 27 days annual leave. You'll also have the benefit of working for a large, well regarded main contractor that rewards people based on merit with fantastic paths for career progression.
