Contracting Specialist
Rate: £14.09 per hour

Contracting Specialist needed for an organisation based in Leeds who are looking to bring in an experienced Contracting Specialist to support internal and external stakeholders, delivering on aspects of the pricing functions from the end to end price setups (pricing cycle) to price query management and issuing customer price reports.

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Contracting Specialist will include:
* Manage workflows through the pricing cycle (except stage 4) and ensure completeness and accuracy
* Manage the expiring discounts pricing process to eradicate expiry in error
* Maintain up-to-date list price information on full product portfolio
* Amend system price setups for list price changes, product substitutes or other changes
* If necessitated by the Price Compliance Manager, amend system discounts for Contract Management
* Ensure compliance within SOX responsibilities when offering a price
* Ensure all pricing is authorised prior to issuing and draft offer letters with Price Compliance Manager
* Liaise with the Price Data Team to ensure all EPICs workflows are completed
* Provide prices for tenders, agreements and put forward proposals, addendums and one off quotes as required
* Resolve pricing queries to required timescales
* Process credits when queried and required
* Ensure required remedial actions are completed
* Provide monthly pricing intelligence reports to key stakeholders
* Produce detailed customer price reports for trusts and internal customers following any changes
* Coordinate and produce annual pricing catalogues as required
* Ensure all Nexus catalogues for supplier/Hub or trust managed arrangements are delivered (PDT)
* Form and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and staff

What you need to be the successful Contracting Specialist:
In order to be the successful Contracting Specialist and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
* Strong knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office suite
* High levels of attention to detail
* Strong mathematical skills
* Sound knowledge of commercial and pricing strategies
* Ability to prioritise own workload
* 3 years' experience working within a pricing or finance/commercial role
* Knowledge of CM is advantageous
* Experience in using JDE and SAP
* Knowledge of EU legislation regarding procurement is beneficial
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be eligible for Security Clearance
