We are currently seeking an experienced, driven Contracts Manager for our client - a well established and expanding commercial refurbishment contractor based in West Yorkshire, delivering projects throughout the UK.
The contracts manager will contribute to the expansion of the business. Joining them in their brand-new offices and delivering an exceptional service to their refurbishment and fit-out contracts, across the retail, Leisure and commercial sectors.
Successful applicants must have experience working within refurb & fit out within the commercial / Retail sectors.
The successful applicant Must be experienced in delivering on all phases of contracts from Tendering, Site Surveys, Estimating and design, Through to project management.
The successful applicant must be prepared to travel throughout the UK, with nights away from home to meet the needs of the business.
What is involved in this role?:
Overseeing an extensive portfolio of works, up to £2 million in value, Working closely with the Director.
Delivering all phases of contracts from tendering, site surveys, estimating and design through to project management.
Ensuring all projects are delivered on time to specification and budget.
Complying with H&S requirements.
Working alongside the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure all projects are fulfilled and client satisfaction is achieved.
Ordering materials, organising labour, dealing with client queries.
Preparing projects for invoicing on completion and monitoring contract variations.
Contributing to and Solely preparing Tenders.
This role will allow an established contracts manager to step into a role where business development is paramount. You will be driving the business forward in relation with their expansion plans.
The ideal candidate:
Previous experience within the Refurbishment / Fit out across the retail & commercial sectors is essential.
A background / Qualification / Excellent knowledge of Joinery is essential.
An ability to oversee multiple jobs at one time, often with pressured time frames and at numerous sites.
Able to negotiate and liaise across a range of clients, external consultants and subcontractors.
Strong financial awareness and business development experience.
Prepared to travel to sites throughout the UK (therefore a full driver's licence is required) with nights away from home.

Up to £45k basic salary (subject to experience)
