Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist | Travel | £40,000 | Brighton | Permanent

My client, a travel organisation based in Brighton, are seeking a Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist (CRO) for a permanent position paying up to £40,000 per annum.

The Conversion Rate Optimisation Specialist (CRO) will play a key part in improving the conversion rates of various global websites within the B2C and B2B channels, working with our various partners to create seamless paths to conversion for our many customers in the UK, Europe and around the world.

Experience needed for the role:

  • Confidence using data and insight to increase conversion and optimise customer journey
  • Highly technical, happy to conceive and construct online experiments with a sufficient working knowledge of CSS and html to be able to build your own tests/designs
  • Successful track record of meeting online sales targets through use of conversion optimisation tools and tactics
  • Highly analytical and resourceful, with the ability to collate, analyse, present, execute and follow up
  • Experience in a digital/ecommerce trading environment
  • Indepth knowledge of Google Analytics (or similar) including event tracking, segments, attribution, and the ability to crunch the hell out of the data to glean meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Experience working in an organisation with multiple stakeholders, channels and partners
  • Skilled using analytic tools to improve customer experience (such as Google Analytics, Optimizely, HP Optimost, Tealeaf)
  • Experience utilising multivariate and A/B testing toolssuch as Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, Google Optimise, etc; also tools like Google Tag Manager or similar

Ideal candidates will display:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within ecommerce in a conversion optimisation role
  • Understanding of usability and key drivers to conversion
  • Sales-focused, commercially astute, driven, and able to deliver against extremely challenging deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
  • Experience of working with external / creative agencies
  • Numerate - able to model and forecast targets, analyse data (a "whizz with Excel") and provide key reporting
  • Team player with the ability to motivate and energise the team
  • Versatile - able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
