An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cost Manager to join a leading name in the construction industry on a major infrastructure project. They will join a dynamic organization who are highly regarded for their expertise in delivering major complex schemes across the UK and internationally.
The Cost Manager will be a key member of a growing team who have been appointed one of the delivery partners on the largest construction projects in Europe, the new build of two nuclear reactors providing low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes.
The Cost Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining and delivering timely and accurate cost data and reports for the programme controls and central controls teams. Their duties will include forecasting, performance analysis, earned value, cash flows and monthly reports on actual costs.
The Cost Manager will have a strong understanding of cost management methodologies and techniques and have experience in the use of cost management software systems such as EcoSys. Previous major project experience would be a distinct advantage along with relevant experience in a project management of project controls environment in a similar cost role. This opportunity will suit an experienced Cost Engineer or Quantity Surveyor with cost experience.
The successful candidate will join an award winning organization who provide industry leading training and development.
