Customer Service Administrator

Location: East Grinstead

Hybrid working: 2/3 days in the office

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000

Looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join a leading Risk Management organisation based in East Grinstead. The role will be within a team small team of Customer Service administrators, working with survey team across the UK and a wide variety of clients. The role is a point of liaison between clients, sales and survey teams to allocate, monitor and oversee the quality of the organisations outgoing surveys and to provide consistency of standards to our clients.

Responsibilities of a Customer Service Administrator:

  • To assist the Senior Managers across the Property and Insurance Team.
  • To oversee and monitor the process manuals for requestors, surveyors, and admin team to ensure they are relevant and up to date and to reissue amendments etc as required.
  • To maintain and manage data.
  • To ensure all service levels are met and maintained and take appropriate action when suppliers fall short of expected standards.
  • To liaise with surveyors, customers, and sales team to ensure timely booking of surveys and issue of reports.
  • To resolve or escalate where appropriate customer and surveyor issues, initiating communication with the sales team and keeping them informed.
  • To develop and maintain the production of management information for clients and senior management on a regular basis as required.
  • To assist Line Manager with internal team projects
  • Undertake any other responsibilities that may become necessary for the proper performance of the role.

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications of a Customer Service Administrator

Candidates should possess:

  • strong communication skills (written and verbal) .
  • strong numeracy skills to deal with analysis and presentation of statistical data.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets.
  • Good administrative and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
