Data Analyst (Contract)

Data Analyst needed for a world renown medical devices organisation based in Buckinghamshire. Our client is looking to employ an experienced Data Analyst that possesses in-depth knowledge of Regulatory or Clinical business processes, the ability to work effectively as part of a virtual team, experience of Computer System Validation and ideally a degree in a Data Management related topic.

Some of the key roles and responsibilities for the Data Analyst include:

  • The role is focused on providing support for the Product and Lifecycle Registration (PLCR) capability based on the Insight for Registration software platform
  • This is a global role focused on supporting the data needs in EU, US and Rest of the World
  • The role will include oversight of the XEVMPD submission process to EMA and oversight of the data gathering, QC and alignment process within the PLCR environment
  • The role will provide support to 2 or 3 staff and will require the job holder to have the ability to work independently in a virtual and matrixed environment
  • The ability to prioritise and respond efficiently to requests for support from Data Owners and Data Consumers will be key to success in this role

What you need to be the successful Data Analyst:

In order to be the successful Data Analyst and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally have the following:

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a virtual team of Regulatory Data experts operating in a matrix managed and international environment
  • Knowledge of Regulatory or Clinical business processes, 3 to 5 years' experience
  • Experience of working with Insight for Registration or similar software a distinct advantage
  • Degree in Life Sciences of Data Management
  • Experience producing customised reports from a relational database and resolving complex data issues required
  • Experience of Computer System Validation and of working within the constraints of a regulated process environment required
  • A structured approach to project management and work scheduling, 3 to 5 years' experience
