This is an outstanding role for a hands-on Data Scientist to work within a fun and inspirational organisation with a global reach, in order to attract, retain and engage with customers remotely. Your role here is pivotal to the organisation's growth and ultimate success.
You will be a Senior level Data Scientist with several years of experience in fast paced environments where your advanced CRM analytics experience has played a part to scale these businesses. You will be familiar with using analytics models in CRM targeted marketing, to personalise and automate communications, special offers and new exciting digital content to a wide client base.
You will directly lead and motivate a team that are able to discover information hidden in vast amounts of data and use that data to enable even better products to be rolled out.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the following main activities:
- Manage a team of data scientists at differing levels of experience
- Come up with fresh ideas to share with senior leadership teams
- Build Machine Learning models and advanced analytics solutions and guide your team to do the same
- Ensure quality control is in place for more advanced analytics
- Work closely with other teams such as Product, Marketing, Platform etc.
- Accurate integration into existing platforms and systems
What you will need:
- Expert in the application of Data Science concepts in CRM Marketing activities
- Strong, recent experience in CRM modelling - churn, propensities, cross-sell, etc.
- Skilled with SQL and Python and be using these in your current role
- Skilled with Excel and Tableau and be using these in your current role
- Experience of working with Google Cloud
- Experience using Git and GitHub
- Able to translate business needs into technical Data Science requirements
- Strong Data Analysis skills with experience of how to turn the outcome into usable, meaningful output
- Familiarity with A/B testing techniques and prototyping
- Good understanding of the end-to-end Machine Learning (ML) environment
