Developer -PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS

My client is a well-established and growing business looking to expand its development team with the addition of an experienced developer. The company focuses on the development of technically demanding websites (i.e. intranets, extranets and transactional business systems), web and custom applications and is in need of a developer with both good application UX/front- and back-end skills, but who is as at home developing custom PHP functionality and working with databases and writing complex queries as they are with HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript features.

They are looking for a highly enthusiastic individual who has a genuine passion for developing web applications and working with MySQL, and you will be responsible for translating the project brief and individual customer feature requests in to a solid, logical solution and therefore must be an experienced PHP and jQuery developer.

Responsibilities

• Consult and work with the senior project team and directly with the customer to develop and validate UX/UI and program/business logic ideas
• Build a polished web application that meets the customer's demanding usability and feature requirements
• Contribute modular code to the company framework
• Create and implement automated testing
• Enhance and optimise frontend/backend performance

Essential Skills

• Solid PHP development with MVC experience
• Good HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript

additional Skills and Experience

• Experience with web animation (CSS transitions, SVG animation, WebGL)
• Commercial experience using one or more web development frameworks
• Proficiency in Git (or similar) version control in a team
