An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Document Controller to join an established main contractor at their offices in Croydon. The Document Controller will be joining the companies project support team and providing document control to a growing list of projects for both private and public sector clients, often with build costs of between £2m and £10m.

The Document Controller will be providing effective and timely document control to the project team which includes Quantity Surveyors, Project Manager and a small in house design team. Some of your key duties will include:

• Assisting with the maintenance of accurate site records and documents
• Utilising their inhouse document control system (Deltec)
• Ensuring drawings and other project related documents are published to the system in a timely manner
• Provide documents and drawings to the relevant parties when required
• Convert documents to the right format where necessary
• Liaise with all relevant parties to manage the flow of incoming and outgoing documents
• Supporting the project team with wider administration related tasks

Document Controllers considering this position will need to live within a reasonable commute of my clients offices between Croydon & Purley and have previous experience as a Document Controller within a main contractor or subcontractor. You'll also need excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the Microsoft Office package and be driven and keen to learn.

The successful Document Controller can expect a generous salary & package that includes:

• Starting salary of £25,000 to £32,000
