Electrical engineer required for a national organisation based in West Sussex who are looking to employ an experienced Electrical Engineer with detailed previous knowledge of the water and utility industry.

The successful Electrical Engineer will want to work for this client not just due to the great opportunity but also since they'll give you good benefits including:

What the role involves:

Some of the main duties of the Electrical engineer will include:

  • Working a variety of projects, mainly within the water industry across the UK
  • The candidate will be responsible for working with the team to provide a complete electrical/mechanical/civil solution with tight budgets and timescales
  • The work is largely water related schemes which include treatment and transfer systems, wastewater treatment and associated pumping
  • There is also a minor grade of building services work including lighting, electrical distribution, small power, security and fire alarm systems
  • Main responsibilities include electrical design, bid preparation, report production, site asset surveys, part-time supervisory and energy efficient development strategies

Electrical Engineer key skills and experience:

In order to be the successful Electrical Engineer and have a chance to be apart of this amazing opportunity you'll need to have the following:

  • BEng or MEng in Electrical engineering
  • Establish an understanding of electrical design within the industry including an understanding of operation functions within MCC panels and ICA equipment
  • To have knowledge of HV systems, Health and safety, DSEAR and HAZOP
  • Be able to create single line diagrams for electrical distribution systems and experience in producing electrical specifications
  • Evidence of CPD development within electrical and water sectors
  • Good communication and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
