Job Title: Electrical Supervisor - Commercial Experience Required

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor with commercial expertise to join our team based in Wakefield. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary, depending on your skills and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

As the Electrical Supervisor, you will report directly to the Technical Services Manager (supported by the Regional T&I Supervisor) and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the electrical testing and inspection contract, including contract development.

Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including SHEQ compliance, personnel management, subcontractor oversight, contract management, budget control, engineering planning and execution, and planned preventative maintenance. This role involves direct interaction with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain the plant at designated sites in accordance with established procedures, ensuring site health, safety, environmental, quality, and customer service targets are met.
Ensure third-party contractors working on-site adhere to safety and professional standards, complying with relevant company and site-specific procedures.
Follow company procedures and standards outlined in the Company Handbooks.
Accurately and efficiently complete all administrative tasks, whether paper-based or using appropriate IT software.
Familiarize yourself with all Company and site procedures affecting the contract and fulfill responsibilities detailed in the EMS.
Maintain a professional image and keep the site and Company property clean and well-maintained.
Foster positive relationships with customer representatives, delivering services with professionalism.
Ensure that work adheres to Company Safe Systems of Work and the site Permit to Work system, establishing appropriate procedures and processes.
Collaborate with the Site Manager to ensure contract delivery aligns with Company quality procedures.
Work with the Site team to identify and implement innovative ideas to reduce costs and improve service quality.
Collaborate with the Site Team to review and propose enhancements in service delivery across all aspects of TFM delivery.
Contribute to and manage the planned maintenance schedule, ensuring tasks align with the agreed PPM planner, SLA, and KPI targets.
Execute PPM and reactive work activities in compliance with contract requirements and company competency appointments.
Supervise specialist sub-contractors' work, reporting any anomalies to the Contract Supervisor or Site Management.
Collaborate with the Site Management Team to identify opportunities for self-delivering sub-contracted maintenance activities.
Conduct scheduled Electrical testing and Inspection maintenance tasks, including Emergency Lighting, ECIR, Illumination Levels, Infra-Red, Motors, PAT, Static Discharge, and Lightning Protection. Perform equipment and service repairs following best practices.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Apprenticeship, primary trade qualifications, and significant experience in a building services and manufacturing environment.
Previous supervisory or lead experience.
ONC/C&G or equivalent qualification in an electrical engineering discipline.
C&G 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection certification.
18th Edition Electrical Qualification.
