An experienced Fitter is required to play a key role in supporting testing and test programmes across a number of military platforms. You will be familiar with electro-mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components, in their assembly and operational capacity.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Fitter?

• Test Rig Assembly
• Test Rig Modifications in meeting set test requirements
• Test Rig Operation
• Produce and complete test documentation as and when required
• Fault finding and problem solving

What are we looking for in our next Fitter?

• Hold a Professional Vocation City & Guilds/NVQ/HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in an Engineering/Defence organisation as a Fitter
• Have experience of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Systems
• Have experience with Pneumatic System's
• Experience of Environmental Testing - Temperature, Humidity, Vibration
• Have experience in the use of test equipment - Multi-meters, Vernier's, Oscilloscopes etc
