Industrial Motor Repair Engineer

My client based in the West Midlands are a busy industrial electronic repair workshop with a rapidly growing customer base and are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable candidate to assist in the repair of industrial motors, pumps and gearboxes with a view to progressing onto the repair and testing of servo motors.

As an Industrial Motor Repair Engineer, the candidate MUST possess the following:

• Testing and repairing industrial Servo motors (but not limited to)
• Experience in testing and repairing 3 phase AC/DC motors, industrial pumps and Gearboxes is critical for the role.
• Experience in bench testing, full dismantle, assembly and repair of AC/DC industrial motors is essential - minimum 5 years' experience.
• Full training will be provided resulting in the candidate to be able to test and repair Servo and High-Speed Spindle motors of any manufacturer type.
• The ability to work effectively both alone and as part of a team.
• Previous experience of working in a similar environment.
• A logical and analytical mindset.

As an Industrial Motor Repair Engineer, will have experience of the following:

• Experience in bench testing, full dismantle, assembly and repair of AC/DC industrial motors is essential
• Minimum 5 years' experience within Industrial Motor Repairs.
• MiNQualifications in electronic disciplines would be advantageous but not necessarily essential, as long as a sound understanding of electronic principles and a proven track record in the field can be demonstrated. Salary negotiable depending on previous experience.
