Electronics Engineer
Electronics Engineer with experience in Digital Signage required by a London based technology and manufacturing company who provide engineering solutions for passenger transport. The Electronics Engineer will have a background in both LED/LCD technologies ideally designing and maintaining onsite and remotely. This role will be working on a large street furniture project being rolled out across the London area.
The successful Electronics Engineer will ideally have a relevant degree in subjects such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computing etc and have a genuine interest in digital signage technology.
Some of the main duties of the Electronics Engineer will include:
- First line rapid response customer support for field maintenance, providing training and answering technical queries.
- Responsible for the electrical and electronic design of products, systems, sub-systems and components typically including a display, data source, communication accessories and associated controls
- The scope of the electrical design includes specific proprietary controls for thermal management (fans and heaters)
- Carrying system design through to test (prototype, build, verification and compliance testing) either personally or in cooperation with third party suppliers
What experience you need to be the successful Electronics Engineer (Digital Signage):
- Electronics System Design experience
- UK Driving Licence
- Schematic capture experience
- Experience of both/either or LED/LCD technologies
