Energy Analyst

Brief
Energy Analyst's needed for a multinational utility's organisation based in London that do also offer very flexible working. My client is looking to employ a number of experienced and well-rounded Energy Analyst's that takes pride in their work in being the central player in the day-to-day energy analysis activities of the business supporting operations and engineering.
The successful candidate would need to be qualified to a minimum 2:1 degree level in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Engineering Discipline etc and have a keen interest in an Energy Analytical role. If you have knowledge of an energy software (e.g. Energy Pro) that would be a plus!

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Energy Analyst will include:
· Measure, monitor and report on plant physical performance
· Investigate and improve all system losses
· Measure, monitor and report on plant financial performance
· Identify energy savings opportunities
· Work in conjunction with Asset Intelligence team on options and technology to improve efficiency Calculate and generate sales Invoices to customers
· First line response with customer account queries
· Create and maintain consumer energy profiles
What experience you need to be the successful Energy Analyst:
· Motivated and professional analyst with ideally 2 years work experience
· Qualified to a minimum 2:1 degree level in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent Engineering Discipline
· Expert in Excel with experience in using V Look ups and Pivot tables
· An understanding of the principals of district energy and CHP
· Knowledge of energy software (e.g. Energy Pro) would be an advantage
· Must be both positive and proactive when approaching all tasks
· Knowledge of Controls, VSDs and Metering Systems would be an advantage
