An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join a leading main contracotor on a secured, long term utilities framework based from their offices near to Watford.

As the Estimator, some of your key duties will include:

• Taking a lead role on a large scale programme of works
• Pushing best practice throughout the estimating team and into the wider bidding process
• Act as a mentor and assist with the development of others
• Maintain the current processes, procedures & systems currently in place whilst providing improvements where possible
• Provide enquiry schedules for scope of works and the packages required from tender documents, drawings and the specifications that have been issued
• Review the returned quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors and where necessary, discuss amendments to bring them in line with the project specifications

Estimators considering this opportunity will need to have:

• Experience working within the UK's water industry
• Familiar with pricing work on clean & waste water infrastructure
• Experience of using Candy Estimating software
• Good communication skills
