Brief
Estimator needed for a well-known infrastructure services organisation based in London who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Estimator that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of preparing bids and tendering submissions.
The successful candidate would essentially have a background in Civil Engineering, hold an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification and have a keen interest in Estimating. If you have a CSCS card that will be a plus!

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Estimator will include:
- Preparing sub-contract tender packages
- Identifying labour, types and amounts of materials and time required to deliver the tender
- Carrying out take offs and production of BOQ from specification and drawings
- Determining the duration, availability and cost of plant required
- Preparing the cost plan
- Calculating a final figure for the estimated cost, supplemented by adjustments for overheads and profit, and presenting a tender price
What experience you need to be the successful Estimator:
- Background in Civil Engineering.
- Holds an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification
- CSCS card holder
- Previous background preparing bids and tender submissions
