£60,000 to £65,000 + package
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Estimator with construction/new build experience to join a busy, growing main contractor at their smart offices in Altrincham. The Estimator will be joining an experienced pre construciton team and pricing tenders for a wide variety of projects including new build residential and industrial units through to office to residential conversions, all with contract sums of between £500k and £15m.
The successful Estimator will be working closely with the Pre Construction Manager, Planner and Construction Director and putting together accurate, cost efficient tenders across the business. Some of the Estimators responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate quotations from the drawings and submitting tenders
- Procuring tender reports
- Measuring & Take-Off's from drawings
- Control the estimating process from start to finish
- Liaise between all the internal parties throughout the estimating life cycle
- Compile bench marking data

Estimators considering this opportunity will need to have previously worked as an Estimator within a main contracting environment and have had experience on new build construction projects. You'll also need good communication skills and willing to travel to clients offices and sites as required.
