Facilities Administrator needed for a multinational defence organisation based in Bedfordshire who are looking to employ an experienced Facilities Administrator with an in-depth knowledge of the technical and logistical requirements to carry out maintenance of industrial assets either from hands on experience or a job planning role, ability to interpret technical manuals to derive maintenance data, and the Aerospace/Defence Industry.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Facilities Administrator will include:
The Facilities department at my client's site in Bedfordshire are looking for an individual with an engineering background to assist with the data gathering and implementation of a new asset management system.
The tasks will include reviewing asset data, obtaining the manufacturers manuals for each asset, creation of a technical library of manuals, interpreting the manual content to create job plans for each asset and assigning schedules.
What you need to be the successful Facilities Administrator:
In order to be the successful Facilities Administrator and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
- An understanding of the technical and logistical requirements to carry out maintenance of industrial assets either from hands on experience or a job planning role
- Ability to interpret technical manuals to derive maintenance data
- Reasonably PC literate
- Must be eligible for Security Clearance
