Game Mathematician - iGaming £40-£60,000
I'm partnering with a well-established and growing games studio in the iGaming space to find a Game Mathematician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys blending analytical thinking with creativity to shape engaging gameplay experiences.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborating with product and design teams to define gameplay mechanics, hit rates, and win profiles
- Building and iterating mathematical models to deliver balanced, engaging slot experiences
- Designing simulators and analysing performance data to validate game outcomes
- Producing and maintaining PAR sheets and technical documentation
- Working closely with developers and test labs to support implementation and certification
What they're looking for:
- 1+ year experience as a Mathematician in the iGaming/gambling sector
- Strong Excel skills and experience with PAR sheets
- Programming knowledge (Java, C, or C#) - prototyping experience is a bonus
- Solid understanding of slot mechanics (grid slots or complex games a plus)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Hybrid/remote flexibility depending on location
