London (with UK travel)
£60,000 to £80,000 + Package
I have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Head of Capital Projects to join an established & growing Real Estate Private Equity business as they look to grow their residential platform across the UK.
Based from their offices in London's West End, the Head of Capital Projects will be responsible for the sound delivery of residential refurbishments valued from £250k to £500k (per unit) across the UK. Reporting to the Development Director, Your role will include providing pre & post contract delivery of the project with your duties to include:
- Recommending and appointing the contractors
- Developing & managing the in house design and project management teams
- Manage project costs and report to the Development Director with progress of ongoing projects
- Provide advice throughout the design phase of projects
- Provide technical advice throughout the construction phase of the project
As the Head of Capital Projects, you'll be working on a variety of projects including new build to rent flats, flat renovations and flat sub division to housing management organisations. Their current portfolio of projects includes sites in Carlisle, Durham, Ipswich, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Stockton & Sunderland.
Candidates considering this opportunity will need to have experience in residential fit out and/or refurbishment projects either for an end user, consultancy or main contractor. You'll need to have excellent communication skills, a client facing approach and sound contract knowledge. This role also requires travel so it's important that you're willing to travel across the UK and have a valid driving licence.
