Head of Development

Head of Development required by an international, market leading FinTech company based in London who are currently looking for a Head of Development who has previously worked within the Financial / Finance / FinTech industry, that has over 5 years experience in a similar position to take over responsibility for both local and off shore Development / Software Teams and focus on building quality teams within an Agile based Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) environment with an in depth knowledge of Design Patterns who also has experience with technologies such as C# .Net, Microsoft Stack, SQL, Atlassian (JIRA / Confluence), and more.

The successful Head of Development who has experience within Finance / FinTech will be offered an excellent opportunity to grow and progress with a rapidly expanding, contemporary FinTech organisation in London, you will receive:

  • Competitive Salary £85,000 - £95,000 Per Annum
  • Discretionary Annual Bonus (Usually between 5 - 15%)

This is an incredible opportunity for a Head of Development (with an existing knowledge of the Financial / FinTech industry) to enter a young, growing organisation and truly created your own position within the company. You will be entering into a role where you can be at the forefront of Change and Development throughout the business, working with the CTO to efficiently bring the company forwards across the globe. This is a chance to utilise a broad skill set while learning new skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

As Head of Development your key focus should be towards building quality teams both locally within the UK and abroad in international office locations. You will need to focus on Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery within Agile and ensure all teams do the same. As Head of Development you will be responsible for Change Implementation, Reducing downtime and operational impact, maintaining continuous improvement roadmaps, ensuring all investigations are logged efficiently, and generally drive efficiency and excellency throughout the Development department.

Key experience needed by the Head of Development:

  • 5 Years experience within a similar position
  • Financial / FinTech Industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Methodology
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD)
  • Microsoft Stack environments
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Atlassian (JIRA / Confluence)
  • C# .Net
  • Experience managing / building both local and off shore teams to a high standard
  • Strong understanding of Design Patterns
