Health and Safety Manager opportunity working for medium sized developer based in South East London. The person they are looking for must have the necessary HSE qualifications and also have spent time working on construction projects as a safety advisor. As well as having the right technical expertise it is imperative you have strong communication skills. It is crucial that you have a proactive approach and are able work with the teams on and off site to encourage best practice with all aspects of safety in mind. The company need someone who can work with the board of directors to build a strategy for the business and putting Health, Safety and the Environment at the forefront.
The projects that you will be responsible for will range in value from £10m to £50m and will be high end residential new build or refurbishment sites in Central London.
The company are in a great shape financially and the projects they have in planning for the next 18 months will mean they have to increase in size and capability.
This really is a great opportunity for someone who has got the right level of experience, can manage people and encourage best practice. This is also a great chance for someone to work with a board of directors helping to shape the future of the company.
What they need:
Health and Safety Manager who has a strong pedigree in building projects (ideally residential)
Someone who is a strong communicator and can work collaboratively with people
Health and Safety Manager who has IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications
Someone who is able to look ahead and be strategic
Health and Safety Manager who is able to take full responsibility for all aspects of HSE for the business
Someone who can show stability
HSE Manager who has "new build" experience.
